Build A Bridge [Saturday May 12th, 2007 at 5:35pm] [ music | Build A Bridge: Limp Bizkit ] Today got me feeling like that. Haha, yeah that's the picture of a tree i took on the bus ride to changi airport not too long ago. The second one's my hand. The little red crushed paper's actually a sweet wrapper. The third one's a bird i saw at the zoological gardens. Does anyone know the breed of the bird?It's so pretty. It was pretty hard to capture it because it twitched and hopped up and down every second. Pretty black bird. I digressed. Yeah so i came back from Sentosa not too long ago. Went there alone. You know, its not such a bad thing to gol to places alone. Makes you notice things you wldnt have on a regular day out with your friends. The voices and expressions drown out the beauty of the littlest things. I was overcome by a feeling of melancholy. Being there alone, and "build a bridge" by limp bizkit on repeat. It got me feeling and possibly looking like this: You know, I think being fair adds on to the emo effect. HAHA. like seriously. if you've got black hair and pale skin like me. Chances are that. You might look emo. Sun kissed skin's coming my way. The emo-ness will subside. Anyway, something Adeline said got me thinking yesterday. We were actually talking about caucasians. Started talking about it after noticing more angmohs in singapore. And she said something about it being our(asians) fault that they feel superior. I think it's kinda true. I mean, if you(asian) didn't look up to them in such a big way. This wldn't have happened.  It was because you felt inferior that made them superior. su·pe·ri·or   showing a consciousness or feeling of being better than or above others You see, when you say that someone's superior. It is with reference to someone else's status. You compare. Asians acknowledge that causasians are superior in so many of their ways. Most of the time, they're not aware that they are. their actions. their smallest ways. Don't hate the white man's condescension. It takes two hands to clap. If you think that all men are equal under the eyes of god, act that way. Because what you feel is what you are. Japan totally didn't need to request for a statement stating that all races are equal. See, Lady. [Saturday May 12th, 2007 at 12:06am] I'm going tanning tmrw. look at that skin! It's deadly fair. I look sick without my blusher and tinted lipgloss. so my plan tmrw is to tan and study under the sun. : ) let me talk about today. school was fun as usual with my notorious friends. "fuck you very much", haha. and after school, i headed down to bugis with adeline the verbally violent girl. HAHA.that girl's sure one hell of a shopaholic. it's nice shopping with her. we kinda share the same taste. esoteric taste. she helped me with 2 teeshirts. HAHA yay. and encouraged me to get this pair of topshop sunglasses. MEN SUNGLASSES. i tried it on and when it was time to pay.the girl said that that item was under topman. sooo now i know.i look cool in men's sunglasses;) i like whatever i've bought. no regrets at all. NEXT THURSDAY! TOPSHOP'S LAUNCHING KATE MOSS'S COLLECTION. I CAN'T WAIT! :D READ (1) COMMENT
